On October 3, 2017, We were introduced and met at Leyenda for happy hour. I thought she was confident and erudite. I thought he was funny and well dressed.

On October 7, 2017, we had our first date. Bahnmigos, Super Power and King Tai. I thought she was stunning. I thought he was talkative, like me, which I really liked.

In December, I slipped and referred to her as my girlfriend.

In the early hours of Saturday, April 21, 2018, I slipped and told him I loved him. On Sunday evening I told him I love him for real. We haven't gone a day without saying it to each other.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, we spent weeks away to stay safe, at times communicating through her window like a Millennial Romeo and Juliet. We still managed to make the most of it as time went on… driving around the city, visiting the beach and enjoying each other’s company.

On May 1, 2022 we moved in together to our first apartment, a fourth floor walk-up. That didn't last too long and now we live in a beautiful brownstone in Bed-Stuy.

On September 19, 2024, I asked for her hand in marriage at the Brooklyn Heights Promenade. I picked that place as it is testimony for our love for each other and our love for Brooklyn.

I responded yes.

We are so excited to celebrate with you in the place we love most and our home - Brooklyn.
